My name is Robert Heasley, and I was brought up in Edinburgh, Scotland. I have been writing stories for a very long time, with an interest in all things sci-fi, fantasy, thrillers, horror, and non-fiction. In my spare time, I like to travel abroad, go hill walking, and visit historical sites. I work in IT, fixing technical issues for customers, and have worked on various projects.

For the past few years, I have been a fan of what is often called micro-fiction or flash fiction. If this is the first time you are hearing about it, it's a form of storytelling that is generally no more than 300 words. I think it's a style of storytelling that could be added to clothing and other items, which would be difficult for a novel, for example—unless you add a certain character or maybe an interesting paragraph.

I wanted to bring this style of storytelling to life in different ways. I used to have a Trainspotting movie T-shirt that had the "Choose Life" qoute/rant, and people would come up to me and read it out loud. I have been thinking about how putting flash fiction onto a T-shirt could be a really nice icebreaker.
